A Toddler's Halloween, 2015

We took our son trick-or-treating for the first time a few days ago.  He wasn't much for costumes (he only wore the mask when he realized it got him candy), but he was definitely pretty cute saying "trick-or-treat" and "thank you" to everyone he met.  Here are the pics.

As silly as it sounds, I had a big realization when Christopher walked up to this house that this would be his very first trick-or-treating experience ever, and I was getting it on camera.  Being a parent will do this to ya.

Mama was on duty at the door.

I felt bad that the guy had to duck down so low, but he was a good sport.

He actually wore the mask for more than a second!

He had yet to get a handle on the finer techniques of basket holding.

"Hey, I just got something for nothing!  SWEET!"

Time for House #2

Either House #3 or 4

Nathan's dog Lucy came along for some fun.

She seemed interested in Christopher's haul.

Time for his first basket at the door!  (J/k on the excitement...)

Christopher did NOT want to be done trick-or-treating, but his basket contents kept spilling out as he was walking... and the World Series Game 4 was getting exciting, so, you know... time to call it a night.

Pretty awesome treasure trove!

I love his expression... "Which shall I have first?"
