Father's Day Weekend, Day 1, Part 4 = Christopher calls room service, and Cincinnati chili

After going to the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and walking across the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge, it was time to get a taste of Cincinnati's most famous culinary offering = chili.  But first we popped back to the hotel in downtown.

Christopher loves phones of all kinds, and knows the principle behind their use.

I had to disconnect the phone so he wouldn't call room service.

Notice how tangled he became.

Seen while walking to get chili.

A mural, seen on the same walk.

Skyline Chili, one of 2 large chains in Cincinnati, and by far the closest to our hotel.

I ordered my small chili "5-ways," which had spaghetti, beans, onions, cheese, and meat.  I also got a "coney" (small hot dog with chili), since it was only a couple bucks.

The service at Skyline (and the general friendliness of people in Cincinnati) was outstanding.

Christopher didn't eat much chili (which was good for our cleaning of diapers), but he enjoyed the experience all the same.

Coming up = a Cincinnati Reds game.
