Stanford @ UCLA, November 28, 2014

On Friday, November 28, my wife, brother-in-law, and I went to see the Stanford Cardinal take on the UCLA Bruins.  Stanford had won the last six meetings - could they make it a seventh?

UCLA band getting ready to honor Troy Aikman at halftime.

The three-time Super Bowl winner and Hall of Famer got his start at UCLA, and was having his number 8 retired.

Notice the Aikman name at bottom center, and the confetti in the air (immediately after the unveiling).

Go Cardinal (funny thing though - technically I was a UCLA student at the time of this game, since I was taking an online class with them)

Couple yards to go...

Touchdown Cardinal!

Stanford stunned UCLA 31-10, to destroy UCLA's post-season dreams and aspirations (apologies to my boss, who was once the captain of the Bruins).

Coming up next = a much more disappointing football game, further north.
