Niagara Falls, March 1, 2014

After seeing the Sharks lose to the Sabres, we needed something encouraging... so Bill, Christina and I went to Niagara Falls, en route to Toronto.  Micah had to leave to go home to West Point... alas.  Here are photos from both sides of the border.

The New York side:

(That's Canada in the background)

American Falls

(which are in America)

Bill (still representing) and his wife Christina.  New Jersey natives - first time at the falls.

The Ontario (Canada) side:

Time to get educational!

That's some serious erosion, folks.

Phew, erosion is now under control.

Horseshoe Falls - the reason people come to Niagara.

The Niagara River is just a wee bit frozen.

Looking across to the American side.  As much as it pains me to say it as an American, the Canadian side is the better of the two.

Looking over to the American side (again).

Horseshoe Falls

Coming up = Toronto, in two parts.  Stay tuned.
