Australia photos - Sydney, Days 1-2

One of my first glimpses of Down Under

Circular Quay (pronounced "key") train station, with the Harbour Bridge dominating the background

I probably have 800 photos of just the Opera House

Including some with boats in the foreground

The Harbour Bridge, post-climb, seen from the south pylon

I was fascinated by these strange apartments next to the Harbour Bridge, and overlooking the Opera House. They look like stacked crates, but probably cost a fortune to rent.

This highly exotic bird is a common one in the Sydney area, and locals pay no attention to it

Probably because it's not the classiest of fowl

Photo #419 - at night!

Harbour Bridge on the opposite side of the quay

Proof that I attempted to go to church (got there 3 minutes before the service ended)

The ANZAC (Australia and New Zealand Army Corps) Memorial, in Hyde Park

They mean business

The AMP Tower, visible throughout Sydney

St. Mary's Cathedral, and an adjacent fountain

About to enter St. Mary's...

...and take photos illegally

Bondi (BON-die) Beach, the most famous beach in the Southern Hemisphere after Copacabana

Not here - over there!

Oh, alright...
