NLCS schedule set = Phillies vs. Dodgers

The Philadelphia Phillies beat the Milwaukee Brewers today (final score = 6-2), to head to their first National League Championship Series since 1993. Read about it here. They will face the Los Angeles Dodgers, who swept the heavily favored Chicago Cubs last night at Dodger Stadium (final score = 3-1). You can read about that here. Joe Torre returns to the Championship Series (albeit with a different team, in a different league) for the first time since 2004... which is a drought for him. A slightly longer drought was that of the Dodgers themselves, who have not been to the NLCS since 1988 (when they last won the World Series, as well).

Here's the schedule for the series:

Game 1 = Thursday October 9 @ Philadelphia
Game 2 = Friday October 10 @ Philadelphia
Game 3 = Sunday October 12 @ Los Angeles
Game 4 = Monday October 13 @ Los Angeles
Game 5 = Wednesday October 15 @ Los Angeles (if necessary)
Game 6 = Friday October 17 @ Philadelphia (if necessary)
Game 7 = Saturday October 18 @ Philadelphia (if necessary)
