Crap - Boston beats LA Angels in dramatic game for both clubs; ALCS schedule set

I don't have time to go into the details - but Justin Masterson almost cost Boston a win in Game 4. Unfortunately for the Los Angeles Angels, Jason Bay's monster hit followed by Jed Lowrie's game-winning RBI ended the series in four games. Final score, 3-2, BoSox.

The Rays finished off the Chicago White Sox today, winning 6-2 (the second time this series we've seen that score, and the third time in four games that Tampa Bay had 6 runs). You can read about that here.

Which leads us to this year's ALCS schedule:

Game 1, Friday October 10 = Boston @ Tampa Bay

Game 2, Saturday October 11 = Boston @ Tampa Bay

Game 3, Monday October 13 = Tampa Bay @ Boston

Game 4, Tuesday October 14 = Tampa Bay @ Boston

Game 5, Thursday October 16 = Tampa Bay @ Boston (if necessary)

Game 6, Saturday October 18 = Boston @ Tampa Bay (if necessary)

Game 7, Sunday October 19 = Boston @ Tampa Bay (if necessary)

Boo Sox, go Rays.
